Short Version: This is a lesson on how you sample and intertwine it into a song.
Long Version: I have a ton of MF Doom's work. He is an underrated rapper who is huge in the underground but has never broken out mainstream. That is too bad, since his flow and lyrical originality are so so def. But working with Madlib on the Madvillian project pairs him up with a producer who doesn't settle for average beats. His beats are easily noticed due to their complexity. Notice how the sample and voice don't go together as cleanly as mainstream hip hop songs. But also notice how smoothly it actually turns out. This song has been in my library for years, but it randomly appeared on a shuffle stint and it has been on constant replay since. It might be for awhile.
