T.L. Barrett and the Youth for Christ Choir

Short Version:  Church music for the heathens.

Long Version:  Off the "Good God! Born Again Funk" cd.  When I first checked out this cd, I told myself that I would give it only a few listens before moving on.  Low and Behold, this was the first song.  And it is a banger!  It is easy going and confident.  That comes from the good leadership and song direction of their head, Pastor T.L. Barrett.  If I was going to church, and the service included being paddled down the Mississippi on a homemade stick barge, then I would hope this song would be echoed through the air. 

Isn't this good?  This is album was originally pressed in 1971, but was re-released earlier this year.   Oh my have mercy.  I can feel it in my bones!
