Short Version: Doc Brown brought 1985's Prince back to the future?
Long Version: So the 'Meaning of Life' question with this song is: WTF is Yamaha? His bike or his woman? Who cares. He might just be a bike lover, or his girl works at a Hooters alongside Lexus, Mercedes, and Corolla. Before posting I previewed this song for a few folks and they absolutely loved it! Prince would have abstained from using f**k throughout the song in 1985 and taken this straight to number 1. Or made it the b-side to "Little Red Corvette." Yet coming out in 2010, didn't provide the same results for The Dream. This song did however get many mentions in end of year top song lists. The posted video is the extended version. You can stop after Yamaha or keep going. "Nikki" is the slow dance version of "Yamaha." (Prince ironically wrote a song about a girl named Nikki.) Oddly the other "Yamaha" options on youtube were all at different speeds. Either faster or slower. But here you get to see the official video as the artist intended. The-Dream is more known throughout the music industry as a hit maker. Two productions include number one hits "Umbrella" by Rihanna and "Single Ladies" by Beyonce. All we need now is an updated homage to some Chaka,,Chaka Khan, Chaka Khan.
