Friendly Fires "Blue Cassette"

Short Version: Get your dancing shoes on for this dance/punk summertime jam.

Long Version:  Friendly Fires has just released their second full length cd and it has been highly anticipated in my small atmosphere.  Their first cd was an instant classic in my opinion.  The first song of theirs I got hooked to was their song "Paris" (Aeroplane remix featuring Au Revoir Simone).  It made me want to live in Paris.  "One day, I promise."  Checking out the rest of the cd was just as on point.  That year they played Coachella and I had high expectations.  They met them with a fury.  In 2009 they were my top performance among stiff competition at Coachella.  It was hot as an oven and they came out in their tailored outfits and proceeded to destroy the tent with their energetic singing and playing.  Later that summer I saw them also at Roskilde and they destroyed it AGAIN!  I like these guys.  The video posted below is a live version, so you can get a small idea of how they move to the song.  And two drummers?  Let me hear a Marv Albert,,,,YES!!   Give them a crowd and it is on!
