Short Version: A new type of party music, straight outta DC.
Long Version: Moombahton: a genre of electronic music that melds together reggaeton and Dutch style house down to 108 beats per min. The first song of this new genre was titled "Moomba." Hence the name. I recently read about this new style and decided to research a few songs. Word on the street is that this movement is taking off like wild fire. Play one of these tracks at your party and its gets live in a hurry.
The reason I chose a Nadastrom song is b/c they are the parents of this musical child. It was a friend's party where these two District Gentlemen debuted their first take. How much hype will this fad garner? It is hard to tell, but in the present it is just what any gathering could use to help survive, or better yet enhance the heat wave.
I think I'll skip the music and just play the video at my next party. These old hearts can only take so much, and those bronzed bodies might just create all of the excitement we can handle. By the way, does Arnold know he is a star in this show?
